There is a woman in Sweden who's name is the same as my maiden name. I have no idea who she is, but I do know she has chosen a gmail address very similar to mine. I know this because I sometimes get messages meant for her in my inbox. I have received invitations to her work events, updates from her social clubs and various other correspondence.
I changed my email address when I changed my surname, but email to my old address still gets forwarded to me.
Yesterday I received two requests in Swedish for facial treatment appointments. They said they had discount vouchers and would like to book as soon as possible. I emailed the ladies back to inform them that I live in Australia and work in facilities, so I am in all likelihood not the Sara Henriksson they want.
