Today I went with Dwayne and his mum for a drive up to the Blue Mountains. It is only about an hours drive from the western suburbs, but it's like a different world. Up there it felt almost like spring back home, there were cherry blossom and daffodils. We went to a little town called Leura which was full of wonderful little shops. Kitchenware, crafts, candles, pottery, furniture, bric-a-brac. I will have to go back for some shopping once we have a place of our own!
After Leura we went to Echo Point lookout to see a rock formation called the Three Sisters. There is a famous but fake aboriginal legend about the three sisters, and some genuine ones, but you will have to google that for yourselves.
