Yesterday I spend silly amounts of money on household appliances and bedroom furniture. Even though this is exactly what we have saved all that money for in the last year and a half, it was terrifying to click BUY. I am so accustomed to saving, not spending.
But the place is going to be AMAZING once I'm done. Dwayne's mum is taking me shopping for bedlinen and towels today, and perhaps have a look at patio furniture. Because we have a big, lovely patio on which to put nice, comfortable furniture. Isn't that just fantastic?
I have a million other ideas for things for the house. Anything from plants to rugs and pictures for the walls. But I can't have it all now (unfortunately) so I will have to buy one or two things on each month's salary until I have it all. I wonder if that will ever happen?
